DB server down - now see, that to me means that a computer holding the database has gone down. Is it me, or have these people that we pay generous money to monthly never heard of BACKUP SERVERS?????

There were huge issues a short while ago. Ratings weren't going through, payments weren't working, and teleporting was a risk as you weren't guaranteed to go through. Find didn't work, Account History was gone, and the Leaders board was busted. A Linden that was coming to aid us (with event troubles caused by this) wasn't able to teleport in at all, so we were on our own. I logged out after it forced a bingo event to be cancelled and now can't log in. I assume this is because everything's dead.

I'm kinda worried now at the moment too.. I was in game, at Mexican town, had just bought something for 50L and It took my freaking money but never gave me the item, so i figured it was lag, so i logged out, and now i can't log in... Freezing at inventory load too.. GRR I cant live without SL... LOL seriously though PLEASE hurry and get it back up! I'm bored!

It doesn't just not log me in. It crashes the client and nearly disables the stability of my entire system every time I try to log in, now. Screw this.

 Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Yes - paying GENEROUSLY to play. Even quitting other online worlds for it......... With proper backup servers the delay in logging in would be mere minutes - we are talking half an hour of downtime here now. Is this a localized problem? Backbone thingy? I log into the website and see friends on the list IN GAME. What is UP with that? We need answers - now. |
