Locing up loading login in screen

Within 1 minute of starting SL my computer locks up completely. Occasionally made it in game but HUGE issues .

have updated video and all drivers and tried the set affinity to use only 1 CPU core has not helped . turned off raid , didn't help . other than SL seems to run great .

OS - windows media center
450w power supply
CPU: (Sckt775)Intel(R) Pentium(R) D 945 Dual-Core CPU @ 3.4GHz 800FSB 2x2MB L2
Cache EM64T

MOTHERBOARD: ECS PA1 MVP(2.0) ATI RD400X CrossFire LGA775 1066FSB
DDR2/667 Dual PCIE SATA RAID w/GbLAN+10/100LAN,USB2.0,2xIEEE1394,&7.1Audio

NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 512MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD - using default settings

2GB (2x1024MB) PC5300 DDR2/667 Dual Channel Memory

any suggestions?

Well i fixed it - setting affinity etc didn't do squat . I scaled back from the geforce to a 256 meg Radeon X1300 XT video card and it works like a champ even without seting affinity to only use 1 core

make a new SL shortcuitm add this in Target :

-login SLfirstname SLlastname password

for me that would be
"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -login Thili Playfair password

and never look at that login screen again, do not use this shortcuit when theres a update it will just give you a error.

As its update day it will prob fail after awhile , to many trying and performance is always bad, wouldnt bother doing much till tomorrow really, rez dont work (avatar baked textures), friendship info dont work, and other things.

Is there any solution.. I have talked to serveral ppl that this has happen as well HELP!!!
