Vanishing Folders

Has anyone else noticed this one? Make a new folder in inventory and rename it. Watch it poof out of existance. Just wondering if there is a work around my inventory is bad enough without 20 folders called new folder.  |

Yep it happened to me yesterday. Once I rename it, it's gone. If I leave it alone, then it's fine, but that's not how the game should be working. Also I noticed luckily on a folder I didn't care about, that If i deleted 1 thing from inside that folder, the whole folder went with EVERY item in it. Did some tests on junk I had, and lost everything in those folders too.

The disapearing folders aren't really gone, just not being shown. It's an known issue that LL is working on. As a work around, type anything in the inventory search box and clear it, that will refresh the folders list to let you see them again.

Yes, got it a while back, right after the optional viewer dl, and bug reported it too, my work-around was to put stuff in a "New Folder" and then when I renamed it, it didn't vanish. (the first try was with things not very important...just in case..)

Learned of another workaround, that's simpler than searching. Goto the Sort menu of the inventory window and change the sort order, then back. That will also refresh the list. Also as Mia said, putting something in the folder first will keep it from vanishing.
