A couple days before the last update, several items I had just placed in my house up and disappeared. I cleared my cache, relogged and absolutamente nada. The items are not in my inventory and have not migrated to a different part of the house.
WTF, mate?

I'm wondering about this also. I placed a couple of items in a house I built a few days ago and lost at least one I paid money for. I'm extremely cautious when I delete things but I thought I may have screwed up... or maybe not?

They rolled back the sims after the initial 1.11 release. So if you rezzed anything in that hour or two after the update but before the rollback... your objects are gone. They posted messages to take any objects you rezzed back into inventory before they took the grid down for the update and rollback. This may explain your missing objects.

I have two problems. The first is I have lost several hairpieces after I purchased a belt by the same manufacturer. I have replaced the missing hairpieces but it cost me approx. $800.
My second problem is that I was trying to edit nipple jewelry when they suddenly disappeared. I needed to make the Xcite rings wider but it was impossible to move just one into positon (both always moved together). While attempting this they disappeared. My friend suggested possibly they went inside me and if so, how do I retrieve them? Thanks for your help.

Difficult, but possible. For best results, I use a pose stand (especially for the head/eyes!) and ALT-(CTL)-drag someplace on the ground a ways from my avatar. Get the camera very close to or inside the avatar this way and with a little playing you should be able to see the object. |
