Hi All,
I use a mac to login from my home in the US with no trouble.
I am traveling in Japan and trying to login to the US and am having no luck.
I have internet access from Maginet.. a provider of internet services to the
hotel.
When I try to login, I get all the way to "Waiting for Region Handshake" and
then after some time it stops and pops up a window stating "Unable to
connect. Login packet never received by login server".
If I try to login again immediately, it tells me that the sytem is trying to log
me in from elsewhere and so I cannot login until a few minutes after. If I
wait for the described time and try again.. I go back to login packet never
received. Sigh.
I e-mail support and they gave me generic text and an offer to help in game.. lol.
I don't have any kind of firewall activated on my mac at all.
Anyone experienced this before and knows what to do? Your help much
appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Ok, I found the thread relating to this issue on the forums. But I did not
see any specific advice about what to do. Anyone care to post details of how
they resolved this issue. Thanks.
