hi i was wondering if somone can help me im trying to in stall second life on my new computer and i get this message

the installer you are trying to use is corropted or incomplete.
this could be the result of a damage disk, a failed download or virus


you may want to conatace the author of the installer to obtain a new copy,

it may be possible to skip this check using the /ncrc commanf line switch (not rcommended


if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know thanks

I've had that before. Basically, it means a bad download. Corrupted data which is why it won't run. I had the problem because my motherboard's builtin firewall was interfering. You may also get it if your Internet connection is unreliable. Might that apply to you?
