From: Gin Clayton You're breaking either the Teen or Adult TOS Before jumping straight to such accusations perhaps you should think in future? Perhaps this person is asking if it is possible to run both versions on their machine at different times (i.e. both installations don't conflict with each other) not simultaneously because there's more than one person in their household of different ages e.g parents and their teenage kids? Not everyone has more than one PC at home!

From: Keven Sands Is there any problems known to have both running on same pc Teens use the same viewer we do to log on to the teen grid, so you don't really need to do or change anything. You might want to keep "remember password" unchecked though, so noone accidently logs on to anyone else's account.

From: Gin Clayton You're breaking either the Teen or Adult TOS The question is about running them on the same *PC*, not running them for the same *person*.

Actually, if both Parent & Teen would want to be on at the same time you might want to look into something called a KVM Switch.
This would allow you to have 2 monitors, keyboards & 2 mice hooked up to the same PC.
The only catch would be "Can your computer handle 2 SL's running at the same time???"

Thats not what a KVM switch does at all.
a KVM switch allows you to have one set of I/O Devices attached to multiple Computers, and then switch which computer is currently utilizing those devices via a switch on the KVM, or some use Keyboard shortcuts or the like.

Actually I think what TOD69 meant was a reverse KVM. It allows two keyboards, two mice, two monitors to use one computer. However the reverse KVM does not allow both users to use the computer at the same time. The Rose MultiStation PC Sharing Switch is what you would need to allow two users to connect simultaneously to a single computer, using a separate keyboard, mouse and monitor.
KVMs.com is one site that sells products like the MultiStation.
Good luck - Klaus

DOH! *slaps forehead* YES! That is what I meant! I remember seeing those before, but the computers at the time made 'em so slow to use. Not sure if its improved.
