Crashing continuously

What the heck is going on with this game. I'm getting extremely pissed at the shoddiness of the programming. After the patch, I was on all afternoon with no problems, come on in the evening and get bombarded with nothing but crashes ever 2-5 minutes. Lindens better get their acts together and fix the damn bugs in the game.

Where you doing anything different in the evening? What were you doing when it crashed?

Was just standing in a vendors store talking to a friend the first time. Was in Appearance the next two times it crashed. Just standing again and talking for the fourth crash again at a vendors store. Then crashed 3 more times while showing a friend Nomine's Store. The only thing in common in ALL cases was I was typing at the time.

What kind of drivers do you have installed for your graphics card?

I have the same problem too, but it only happens when I am trying to clean up my inventory or when I am changing into different outfits. Very frustrading I have so much junk because I havent gotten a chance to organize or figure out what everything is.
Do you have any solutions to this problem lee?

a bad inventory item (or two or three)... best way to solve it is to delete items, one by one - for me, this caused a crash everytime i deleted! frustrating as it could get... but, upon reopening, the deleted item would be gone, and i went on to the next one - until i -could- delete without crashing; this was when i assumed i had things cleaned finally... further organizing and straightening up went without a hitch. that solved my probs...

if you have a larrrrge amount of stuff though, that'd be a gruelling chore.

I hadn't really had too many problems until this last update, but now my closet causes crashes AND I lose things I've purchased. If I am to think we should involve ourselves in the economy...I'd like my clothes back!

It could be freebies causing closet problems...then who makes them and what is the inherent problem with the design? Can they be notified? If my favorite boots are making me crash, I'm gonna scream.

I'm pretty new, if I had these problems during my trial...I never would have hung around. For the price, I can wait for the bugs to work themselves out. For a little while. In the meantime, I'll continue crashing and losing and deleting inventory until I have nothing or don't really care.

I hope the previous folks have had luck with their help.

Yeah im having some problems also since the last update. I cant even log on to SL anymore.
I've been trying for like 1 week now but i get nothing different. It either crashes when it says connecting to region or when it says connecting to user server (can take 2 minutes). It was fine after the update for a few days then all the sudden i log off from it and come back and i cant log on... Please post something to help me with this. (any1 can)....HELP ME!!!
