Second Life has become COMPLETELY unusable as of around 6:30pm PST. Many of us can't log in because of the "System Clock" issue (see other threads), those of us who ARE on and who tried to go to the Town Hall meeting can no longer move, can barely talk (30+ seconds of lag), and we CANNOT teleport out of the overloaded region.

I personally can tolerate lag here and there, and I certainly understand that servers occasionally go down and have problems, but there appears to have been a consistent lack of response to these issues when they occur, and the resolutions that come up on a general basis feel like too little, too late.

I realize gripes like this don't really help very much, but I feel it's warranted here. An official Linden response to the current technical issues would be REALLY nice.

Has anyone found a work around to the time clock log-in issue yet?

The response you are looking for is in the Announcement section of the forum.

As Margaret said, when the Lindens are aware of a problem, check the Announcements Forum.. Once they post there, they are all busy working on getting the program going again, and don't have time to respond to 75 "help me" posts all asking for the same request.

Please take a minute and respect them enough to allow them to do their job, and look for help where it is given :)

BTW, if ever "trapped" in a region like that again... the default setting I believe is if you close SL, youi start back in that area. Except, close SL, open to login screen, under settings, set it to login at home location... as long as that location isn't teh "trapped region", you should be taken out of that region.
