On Friday I put my dance chima on my home floor to load a few new dances. It never returned to my inventory !!!
A investment of about 25 RL dollars in dances and such.NO REPLY TO MY SUPPORT TICKET!! thx ,good thing I pay for my account for the rights to own land and support!!
I am tired of being a number in the Lindens bank account. With their hidden agendas for the need to input voice into the game, after a overwhelming negative response by the people that pay to play this game.
I am sure in a year or so this will more of a sex driven game with streaming cams and voice to help keep those account coming.I would have like the support I paid for, the ticket was sent before the end of the day for linden labs.Looks like voice is more important to them my lil issues.

I know this isn't going to be of any support to you, but .....

I lost $L 5,000 worth of inventory in one day. Filed a report.

Received a response approx. 2 months later asking me ....

"Is this still a problem?"

I laughed until I pissed myself.

I think you should resign yourself to the fact that you are never going to see those dances again. That way if you do - it'll be like Christmas all over again !! hurrah !!

I've totally given up on SL now, having lost so much inventory over the last month I barely even recognise my own account - I might as well be a newbie again. I'm selling up my land and moving on to RL...it's easier to keep track of my possessions there, and I rarely find that I cannot even gain access to my own home.

The only customer 'support' you should expect from LL regarding inventory loss will be a response from them in a few weeks time demonstrating that a) they haven't even bothered to read the details of your support request ticket, b) instructions to do all the things that you've already told them you've done such as clearing cache, relogging etc, ending with a follow up response c) telling you that the issue has been passed to the development team (WHY??????) but they are unlikely to be able to recover your lost items.
Much less bother to contact you.

Give it up...the only solution is to go minimalist or find a world that isn't just there to drain you of your real life money:(

**lol...I was just going to suggest that I'd hold an Inventory sale of all my stuff for everyone who's lost items over the last month or so...but of course by the time I could organise it the last few folders will probably have disappeared.....**

yeppers that is what I did,Land is for sale and I think I have a buyer.I have till the 19th to get it done so LL will not be collecting my 25 dollars this month. They do give a flying fuck about it.I am a simple number only worth 25 dollars a month in their book.Bye

This is so damn sad. Bye, guys. If you enjoyed the game at all, consider keeping your AVs and checking in on the forum once in a while. The day will come when evey 10th thread is NOT about inventory loss, and then you might want to try it again.

If I were a manager at LL I would make a few posters of this thread and put it in engineering and customer service. I would also offer a cash incentive to the team that is responsible for their database redesign (I am assuming that someone is doing this!!!) to get them to finish ahead of schedule.
