crashing

anyone else crash to desktop every 8 seconds?

I have been sending the crash reports for weeks now.


I'm a patient person, but enough is enough. anyone have any suggestions?

This has happened to me too, but not reliably. It could be a problem with SL (possibly with handling high traffic areas), but I really have no clue, it might also be something with your PC.

Try the following and see if it does anything.

1) lower the graphical settings big time, resolution and all
2) sign on and quickly warp to a low traffic area
3) change your setting back to normal

If that works, then it might help determine what the problem is.

I don't use a lap top, but my sister Sharn and I have found that we are crashing a lot latly. The only thing I can think of is going to live help, speak to the lindens directly and see if they can suggest anything. Hope it helps
