Hi,

I noticed something strange with my sigs. Compare the two images below. The first one is inline in the message, the other is in my sig.

Why does the sig image get the first line truncated so it looks like its crooked?

Both are being URLed from the same source.

Call me crazy, but I'm having a hard time seeing the difference.

track your eye from left to right across the very top of the bottom image. Right above "B you will see that the line is cut of.

Curiouser. I generally use windoze xp with firefox browser... Here is a screen capture from a mac computer using firefox:

You can clearly see a thin line just above the sig file. In windows, both IE and firefox, that line is sitting right on top of the sig (for me)... on mac firefox and safari (didn't infect my mac with IE to test with) it has that 1 or 2 pixel buffer space.

Cause that line is text, the divider line between message and sig. You can even copy and paste it as text.

I dont see it on all sigs... I do see it in some other sigs now that you mention it though.

I am 100% sure that line of text is not in my sig in a way that I can delete it manually in the sig editor.

Anyone who is using the vBulletin built-in sig feature has it.

I wish they would just get rid of the sigg pictures altogether.

It's not fair for those of us that dont have the capability to link to some other site for images. (Yeah I know I *can* do that with a lot of effort and so forth, but I dont have a reason to go through all that for a sig.)

Why not just give us somethign bigger than a 50 x 50 pixel icon? Then we are all on the same playing field.

I wish they would intergrate them more fully, as in, allow us to actually upload an image instead of link offsite to one.

By that logic, they should also disallow all content upload in-world. Its unfair to people without photoshop to allow other people to upload custom textures for clothing or building. It's unfair to people without sound editing software to allow the upload of sounds. Its unfair for people with Poser to upload animations, etc.

Yus, like allowing us to upload 512 X 80 (or whatever) images for sigs. :)

Ahh yes. I see that now... I was not being observant. :)

I placed a . before the IMG tag and sure enough, there'd the seperation. Looks like shit, but c'est la vie.

Actually, by that logic, they should just close the forums entirely. Its not fair to those who don't want to take the time to post.
