I'll be purchasing a new graphics card in the next couple of weeks,,, and from what I've read in these forums, there seems to be hardly any problems with the Nvidia 7600 series as compared to the higher end Nvidia line.
Naturally, I want the best results with the least problems regarding SL compatibility.
Is there a preference between the 7600 GT over the GS or is the performance difference not noticable for the increased price?

Hmm, to be honest, I don't see many, if any, 7600GTs out there. Really, the 7600 GT and the 7600GS should be nearly identical in performance. Just be sure that the card you get is built for the appropriate expansion slot in your computer (AGP or PCI-Express)
