Ok, so I was making some picture frames last night for some artwork I have. When I went into my texture list in edit mode...almost all of the textures I have purchased in the past and have used...are not showing in my list. They show up as normal in my inventory. I'd like to know how I am able to use a texture...if it is not listed in edit. Makes no sense. I was told by someone that they may not be transferable. Well, I bought them and have used them in the past and now I cannot. I am assuming this has been since the current updated version of SL, because I have not used them after the update until now. Any ideas how I can be able to use these as I have in the past?
Thanks, ~Zsu~

Same thing for me... not only they are not there.. but then the inventory stays in "Fetching" all the time... I can't hardly move and then after 15 minutes if I hold it that long it crashes on me... I haven't been able to use textures well ... actually not even objects... anymore... But nobody is fixing this

It loads folder by folder - so stick your textures in sub folders. At the moment it will be loading every texture you have, which if you are anything like me is 75% of your inventory...

Thanks, ~Zsu~ This is because of the permissions. Try deselecting "apply immediately" - but I'm not up to speed on what permissions are needed for what in 1.6.

The "Apply Immediately" checkbox in the Texture Picker will automatically filter out all (no copy) and (no transfer) textures in the Picker window. This keeps you from applying a texture that will lock your object's copy or transfer permissions. Unchecking this box will cause those missing textures to appear.
I've been speaking this morning with a resident who had an issue very similar to this. While I'm still checking things on Second Life's end to see if something's broken and what we can improve, in this resident's case, the Windows Firewall was on and seemed to be directly involved in the crashes. Even if you've turned it off before, verify that it's off now. (It's in the Control Panel.)
