lost and not found :-)

3 days ago I lost all my photos from my time in SL. They were in a texture organiser. Yesterday my partner lost a texture organiser with many hundreds textures that he has bought and uses when he build. No trace of it. He expierienced that when he attempted to take the organiser into his inventory, he could not do so. Furthermore it was no longer registered to belong to him under general in edit mode. No editor and no owner. Shortly after it just vanished and was not to find in his lost anf found folder.

Folks be careful.... if you can, take back up of everything important.... these days you cannot relay on having the things you have. Even if you back up and store your things in world, you cannot be sure to have them. A near friend of mine has resonly seen her itims disappeare from her land.

Share with your partner or a friend if you can. Then it is more likely, you can get your things back.

Some has to learn the hard way..... this time I was one of those.......(((
