Has anyone else noticed that various actions become undone after a logout. For example; I was checking out land for sale around the world, then teleported home. When I logged in this morning I was at the location I was prior to teleporting home. Earlier that evening, I was lining up objects that I recently retextured. I logged off to get something to eat. When I returned, the objects were back to their original position.

Original position? Hrm. That sounds like to me you ghosted out from the server and all those changes you made became useless. So when you logged back in it was back to the state it was before you lost connectivity and ghosted.
You can still edit objects during connectivity loss with a server till your client realizes it has timed out and lost communication with sim.
This happened to me several times as sims going down are pretty common.

Agreed. I've had sims crash on me and been halfway through a build when after I was 'done' and tried to save my work, I noticed it wasn't disappearing or compiling and stuff like that. This is why they have the saying, "Save early, save often".
