I would like to have a viewer with some restricted options.
The user should not be able to change the option "View/Show HUD Attachments". It should be fixed to always show them. The corresponding shortcut should not work either.
Is this possible? Ok since it is software, it probably is, but is there anybody to provide a viewer like this with ease?
And is it possible to detect the client-version used by a character via script in game, so a scipt might use that information if the character is using the special client?
Or is it possible to get the actual configuration of the Show Hud Attatchemnts option via script in game?
The goal is to support kinds of restrictive ingame HUD-Attatchments and to recognize if the user is cheating.
Unfortunately I am not into develoment of SL-viewer, as I am not into SL-scripting, so I would probaply not be able to work that out in a reasonable time (and actually I don't want to know about the details).
I am using a Mac, but the modified client should work with all supported platforms.
