Remote vendors and SL unhappiness

Hello all

I am (was) a happy owner of Raphael Rutherford's remote vendors system. With 1.5.8 stuff is delivered with a delay of up to 20 minutes (IF it is delivered). That is no good, and it depends from some change/bug that was introduced into e mail system.

Raphael already contacted Lindens, but say they did not yet answer.

I spent 10k for that system (that is a LOT for me), and now it is no more working in an acceptable way. Sincerely I am mad more with Lindens rather than with Raphael... All that I ask is a STABLE world in which things can live and stay a bit without being ruined by excessive lag or new bugs. SL is a big mess always in beta testing and I feel like an object of experiments. with last patches I am spending more time relogging or crashing or being stuck rather than doing thing and I am really sick of this ((

btw, one, or some, but not all of the mail servers is adding trailing spaces to its email content. I have had to code round this intermittent and semi-random problem in my latest networked vendor.

I have bug reported it, sent emails to Andrew, and finally asked here in the forums, but have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever from Lindens.

There clearly is a bug in their email server/systrem somewhere.
After 1.5.8 it may take 10-20 minutes for an email to reach it's destination, no matter if there's 10 cm or 20 sims between the communication objects.

I obviously have all my Remote Vendors customers breathing down my neck to solve this, (fortunately, they're all very understandable, just like you, Jopy), and there's several hundred vendors now almost inoperable all over SL, but as the things are at the moment, there's nothing I can do.

I simply send a mail from an object to another, and Linden sucks on it for 15 minutes for some reason.

I really would like to now WHY !!!!!!!!!
