OK I have the "current" stable release of SL (April 2nd 2008 1.19.1 (4))

I figured out how to take off the Windlight stuff which was killing my video card

But for some reason I can't watch people dance, walk, or do anything without being 5 meters from them without the animation being really choppy like it's only showing keyframes, but I want to see the full animation. This was fine in the release before this "current". How do I fix this in the current release.

Also whenever I walk close to a group a people who are far away from me... they come up as somewhat of a pixelated picture of their avatar and then load fully.

I don't mind them loading like that... but I just find it a little annoying.

To stop the Lego PPls, in the graphics tab (make sure custom is checked) and uncheck Avatar Impostors.
Although, if your GC is struggling already, better you keep that on.
