Texture problem

So I'm getting a really annoying bug. I can not select textures for objects or for my SL profile pictures. This happens on my main and my alt. Different regions too. I've tried everything, including reinstalling SL. Anyone else getting this problem? Or know of a fix?

Edit: I can open textures from my inventory just fine. Just can't use the little texture picker menu to apply them.

Yes, I am as well. On Tuesday, after the mini-patch, they didn't show up at all in edit mode, the response being "Not Found". Then yesterday, it responds "Searching". With both answers, the textures were still there in my inventory folder. I'm not the only one with this problem either, a few of my friends are experiencing it as well. I'd also like to know if there's a fix out there.

I am also having this problem. It is exactly how you described: first no textures appearing in the list even though they are in my inventory and now today I just get the "searching" message.

Hey - this was happening to me and I found that the object was locked (which I had not done but was able to uncheck). Yes, I own it , yes I created it, no I didn't lock it but it was locked and I could unlock it.

Sigh. Weird. Anyway after unlocking object I could see my textures again and retexture the object.

I had the same problem but kept a copy of the previous build on file and when I rolled back to it it was fine again. Must be a bug with 1-15-1-3

Yes some change has made SELECT go away for me. I can only select textures on a prim I own,, no matter what my colleagues do, re perms and allows.. except me buying

I can NOT select a specific texture... All textuers works fine, I guess Lindens want solid textured furniture and homes.

This of course makes projects very difficult if not near impossible..
My partner reverted to 1-15-0-2 .. That fixed her but not me ..

wish Lindens read the forum too

I found that I can drag to a face, which helps. Miss select checkbox bad.
However I can't devise a workaround for colors.

Anyone have ideas??

I have the same problem. My textures are not loading in the edit textures window. The textures in my inventory are working fine and I can drag them on the face of an object. In Edit they just don't appear.

The strange thing is that not everybody has this bug. My friends don't have this. For whatever reason only certain people have this problem. I wonder why that is.

I have this problem now for a few days, I really hope it will be solved soon.

Ok I have now discovered the following:

If you use the search field above the window where textures should load, you actually get a search result. This way you can browse to the textures in your inventory and select the one you would like to use.

It is not ideal, but at least now you can use the Edit - Textures function.

I"m having the same problem ever since the mainten work they did on wednesday i cant get my textures to come up in edit mode when i'm trying to apply to a prim or even change a texture on a prim.... is there a remedyyyyy lolllllllllll

I had that issue too, but I reverted to the previous viewer. Not having the problem now.. It's a shame, if it weren't for the texture picker issue I'd be using the latest viewer.

Im having the same problem and its ANNOYING as hell, PLEASE fix this ASAP!!!

OMG..I thought it was just me. I recently became a premium owner and bought land, and it seemed that ever since then, I can't pick textures in my edit appearance. It tells me that no matching results were found, but if I open my inventory, I can drag and drop the texture into my edit appearance box. I thought maybe it was something hokey in the region where I bought land, but when I tp'd to my husband's store and tried it there, I had the same results. Both pieces of land are on a new SIM, and there's barely anyone else even there, and very little lag so far. My husband isn't having this problem, but I sure am. Does anyone else know why or what to do?

Apparently no one cares, I tried the suggestion to go back to the previous version and now it works

I got the problem straight after downloading the newest version and couldn't texture anything. It searched then told me no such texture was found, even though they were in inventory. I reverted to the old version and everything is ok again. I just have to deal with it asking me every time I log in, whether I want to download the new version. Being blonde, one day I will press it by mistake.

Well I get a script error message about texture not found sometimes and I have no idea why... and when i get this I can't take any picture.

This is getting annoying. Several updates later and still no reply from the lindens to my bug report and still no textures.

Whats the point of sculpties!!!!!! get what we already have working first.

Tossing my hat into the ring. This one's been driving me f@$%ing crazy for weeks now.

Not a low priority bug, but it sure doesn't seem to be getting any traction. Seriously inhibits life as a designer, but that could describe 95% of the SL experience lately

I get the same issue, but sometimes it clears up and the textures display straight off. Sometimes it gets worse and I cant get anything even when I do a search in the top field.

Theres currently alooot of bugs thats annoying as hell, and still none are being fixed, welcome to SL?, new bling, shiney stuff, but dont mind all the bugs wich pile up , how about fixing something for once, and have it fixed not "resolved" wich last 1 update, friend list anyone?

"minor" bugs they are not, welcome to builder hell? few fixes ever get here.
