Hello. I have a strange error, i looked in this forum for anyone who had this but didn't find anything, but maybe someone will help me. After installing Second Life when i want to launch it this screen Second Life loading appears but only for a second or something and then it's gone. There is no loading and nothing happenes, and there is no error there. It happenes every time i want to launch it. I've already tried reinstalling the system, reinstalling and redownloading the game but this doesn't help  My system is Windows 2000 sp 4 on athlon 2000 xp+ (1,6ghz) 256 ddr and gforce 2 mx 400 64 ram. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks |

It sounds like OpenGL isn't available. Have you recently updated your graphics drivers at http://www.nvidia.com ? |

Yes i have the newest graphic drivers 77.72, and i have all newest drivers for rest of my stuff.

I've tested version 1.4 and it works fine, dunno about version 1.6.8 or earlier cause i couldn't find them, maybe there is something in this 1.6.9 that causes this error, also i've seen posts that in 1.6.9 game crashed or restarted after a few minutes of playing.

Crashing During Log In

Yeah im having a problem also sorta like that. its been going on for about a week now. everytime i wanna play second life the log in screen comes up fine, so i log in. but it crashes when it gets to either (connecting to region) or (connecting to user server can take 2 minutes)
So Please try to help me out here my friends are starting to miss me and think i quit haha, i have a toshiba laptop,windowsXP home edition, even if that helps i dont really know much about Gigs and stuff like that i JUST WANT TO PLAY!!! but if i could get anything that might help or WILL help ill give it a shot, I REALLY WANT TO GET PLAYING!!! SOON!!!
