automatic jpg refresh?

does anybody know how to update a jpg image set as a media texture periodically?
i have a webcam which uploads a jpg to the web through ftp every five minutes, constantly overwriting the previous file. i'm displaying the image link in sl but would like it to be able to update automatically as well.

i suppose that some kind of PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_UNLOAD, PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL should work but since I'm totally inexperienced as a scripter it would be great if somebody had some experience doing this already?

So the URL stays the same while the content behind it changes? In that case i don't even think you'd need to refresh the parcel stream URL. It would just display whatever is behind the URL you're using.
I could be wrong tho and SL is just weird, as always ^^;;

i'm afraid that sl is weird - it only refreshes if you leave the space and re-enter.
not even stopping / starting the stream affects the cached image.
