items purchased wont copy to invy

I was able to hang out in SL awhile before it crashed(and now cant sign in). I purchased three items...from two different stores(1 from one store, 2 from the other).

Two of the items unpacked themselves into my inventory. The last one I can open and see the items in it, but when I click 'copy to inventory', nothing happens. I tried numerous times, I've searched my invy to make sure it wasnt(or was there)...nothing.

One of the other items purchased was from the same store, so its not like it was a funky store and I got ripped off.

Any ideas to help? Before I crashed, I heard a few other people say the same thing had happened to them......

Help! I paid for the pkg..would love to actually have it!

When you click open your pie menu and click open, you'll get that box that shows your packed items right? Instead of clicking "copy to inventory", drag them from it into whichever folder in your inventory. Should work! I tried when I was logged in earlier ^_^

Yep, I had same thing happen to me.
As the other person already mentionned, the only way you can do it right now is by manually dragging them to your inventory.
I experience many related little bugs like that earlier, and even more in test grid.

If a Linden reads this, IS THAT A KNOWN BUG OR SOMETHING or should we report? Thanks and good luck Isabeau.

Yup, same problem here. When a box is opened and then is clicked on the button 'copy to inventory' it won't be moved. A manual drag and drop action is needed to transfer it.

Same thing here....thanks for the workaround. I sure hope it works!

Please get this fixed......I can buy things but *can not* get them into my inventory so I can *use* them!

I know where you're comin from about the inventory Madison - logged in last night (finally lol) and tried to open some goodies I had purchased only to find they wouldnt leave to be open I figured it would keep tho til everything is fixed (nice thought anyway "everything" - thought it might have just been my connection then I saw your post - *HUGE HUGS* hope they get it rectified soon - Im sure they're workin as hard as they can to get it all ship shape

Dragging it won't work either. It may of worked at first but now its not working either.

Seems everything is falling apart in sl.

I feel really bad about this. I was getting very frustrated with a girl this morning, trying to help her unpack some things she had bought. I was convinced she simply wasn't listening to me, when in fact it sounds like she was having this problem.

I can't even copy and paste things I created in my own inventory either. I can't drag stuff i buy to inventory as well.

yah I noticed that when I went to open and copy to inventory, all it would do is create the folder but the folder was empty I hope they get this fixed soon - as well as the attach feature as well - sometimes the bugs just get in a bunch and multiply rofl

Add that when you drag a bunch of textures from a box into a folder in your inventory it openes everysingle one... I was pissed when I had 150 textures open on my screen took me a while to close them all.

This is very annoying, let's hope it's fixed soon.

You know I am kinda laughing at myself. I am an old enough player that I didn't realise there was an automatic way to unpack a box short of a script to do it. I always have done the drag from the box to the inventory routine.
