I've got a really peculiar problem. Every time I launch SL, it doesn't show up, at all. It doesn't crash, it just doesn't explain. All I see is the outline of the box and the title bar that says Second Life...
Nothing else shows up. Any ideas?

Has it ever worked?
Have you installed the new version that came out today?
System specs are useful for figuring out problems. Model of computer, processor, amount of ram, type of video card, amount of video ram, etc.
Have you updated your drivers recently?

This has begun happening to me ever since today. I installed an update to DirectX and SL decided to no longer work :|

Have you completely uninstalled and then reinstalled SL?
Do you know how to check your secondlife.log file?
Have you tried emailing [email]support@secondlife.com[/email] and calling the support phone line?

A reinstall made it work again? Weird.
The logfile showed nothing except for usual warnings I get from task swapping.
Looks like I won't have to reinstall windows afterall. >_>
