Ive played SL on this exact comp and connection for awhile. While I do have issues with textures sometimes taking fooorrreeevvveerrr to load Ive not had connection issues till last 2 days. Problem is the issues Im having make zero sense to me. First off its as if client doesnt even know Im disconnected. I can walk around, fly and so forth but my minimap turns brownish and I cant interact with at items in the world.
Now is where it gets even more weird... Not only am I disonnected from SL but also from internet. If I close down SL and try open explorer I get the "... not found" message after it trying for like forever. Usually if ny connection down I would get that instantly. As soon as reboot both comp and cable modem Im fine (havent tried rebooting only one if that makes difference.)
At first I thought my connection but problem is this only happens in SL. I can stay on web for hours or in another MMO just fine without this happening. I called my ISP and they pinged my modem and got no problems. A tech came out and tested everything and found zip. From thier tech support I get the standard answer "its not us, conact that other evil company, its all thier fault!"
Is it possible that SL causing this? If so what hell do I do?!?!?!
