Hello there, I have never posted on here before... but I am desperately in need of help! I am unable to connect to Second Life, and I have absolutely no idea why. When I try to connect, this comes up... "Unable to connect to Second Life. Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong. Please check www.secondlife.com/statusto see if there is a known problem with the service." Does anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong? I have tried it without my firewall, and still have had no joy. I'm also using OpenDNS, if that helps. So yeah, any suggestions would be much appreciated! Many thanks, Jonathan |

Sl was having problems with regions being down.. Check the blog ..
Anyways it says there back up now..

I'm still having the same problem... I did read about people having log in problems, but that doesn't seem to be rectified here. I have contacted my ISP, and I am awaiting a response, but does anybody else have any ideas?

No, there's nothing on the blog - and system status says everything is open - Remember the blog and the status page are never in "real time" it takes hours for LL to update them, and they're often innacurate anyway!
Basically, SL IS offline at the moment, to all intents and purposes. It will be a good few hours yet before LL realise it though!

Yes - the normal Friday thing of SL going down when there's no staff there to fix it!
And as usual, LL won't notice that its own product is broken again for ages.
Much as it doesn't even check the status page! - I mean, how long since LL closed the forums, and there's STILL a link on the status page to the forums that LL closed!
