Suddenly Edit Appearance doesn't do anything. It is an item in my pie menu, but when I click it the menu just closes without taking me to edit appearance mode.
The option to edit appearance from the Edit menu is actually greyed out.

Clear cache and relog, the same happened to me a while ago and when I did that, all was well again.
