I'd go faster and make things better but my hamster had a heart attack 2 months ago and replaecment one makes my puter run like a Commadore 64........oh wait thats right its there server not my machine

but such is life ... and it happens EVERY patch on almost EVERY online world / game thing

i started singing (to the tune of shave and a haircut) 12hour patch and a hot fix well before SL

I haven't been able to log in since the whole "culling" streak of brilliance, so yeah, no comment.

Well, I WAS in for a few hours having a grand old time building. Then the sim spat me out. I tried to quickly tp to safety.. but alas 'twas in vain... and my world turned red.

Well HolyHell, im not sitting back and letting it slide anymore, I’ll say it then.
I am a paying customer, not a freebie newbie sucking up resources and adding unnecessary chaos to the grid. As a paying user, I put up with the blah, blah issues and learned to work around them to keep myself entertained and do what it is I love doing. I am now getting short on patients and aggravation is now an on going issue while in game.
I try and provide a service for others in the game. That is renting to merchants, entertain and give a home for friends who have been great help to the establishment I so hard worked to build in the past 2 years here in Second Life.
In my professional opinion, technically, I don’t see issues being resolved, instead, “Gum Wrapping” complaints with added eye candy to the program as an actively diversion to the real issues. Now I’m starting to hear numerous lines of BS from active Lindens that it’s on the user’s end and it is not Second Life. Now I’m not an active member of the technicalities of the system, but I do know enough when the issues are not on my end. I do believe these issues are reparable and can be resolved, but I have a feeling there is an over looking controversy of these programmers, of SL, possibly resorting to high end users for support, saying these issues aren’t as bad as they seem. There for, blowing off these issues and creating additional crap to the program, that also can create program issues, and adding to the ongoing disbelief that anything is actually being resolved from the users who actually support the funds, keeping this over glimmered “Chat Program” alive.
As I said, been here for about 2 years now, and I remember something like this happening, oh say, about a year ago, (or more), when the system went down, after a major upgrade, and some users couldn’t even log on for four (4) days? Not mentioning all the new issues since then. Is Second Life repeating history here? Hmm, kinda supports my theory about the programmer’s job security…
Also back when I first started playing this program, the down loaded package was only about 12 megabits, (more or less), now its doubled, further proving my theory of the added crap or eye candy, if you will, to the program.
The inconsistency of the grid and rolling the dice on hoping the SL network will stay somewhat stable during entertaining our guests has become very aggravating on just trying to have fun at least.
I’m not going to tell you how to do your jobs here at Linden Labs, but my bills to you are getting very hard to pay these days. I pay expecting issues getting resolved and fixed, not hoping they will. If this current issue with the grid is a repeat of what happened last time I wish you well and hope you start investigating the real reason SL is getting worse, not better. Sure I want to see improvements on the program, but not if they are going to add to the already irritating issues, aggressively aggravating the paying user.
Maybe should start listening to the people who pay you instead of the people who you pay.

HEY NOW you want a game you pay for every month and NO support? i can show you several, and NOT sl in that group! example, my gm cowboychris carmichael lost items during a recent move sl laison was there and replaced his items!! when sl was hacked, they were right on it to protect us! when i messed up my land account they were right there to fix it!,
hmmm compare to the sims on-line ohhhh yes please, my TSO account was hacked, a 3 year old sim was deleted, and over $1000.00 gone, just gone, and their response, oh well its just a game!

Thank you for the heads up on TSO, but I already knew that TSO was crap, but I didn’t compare to anyone else, that would have been just fruitless.
Regardless I put my money into SL and I’m not getting my money's worth. I upgrade when I can afford to and to this day have more than a sim's worth of SL equity.
My point, your missing, is that the current performance of the program is making me decide to start down grading instead of upgrading. I didn’t say anything about leaving or the integrity of the Linden Labs technical services.
I'm talking about the integrity of the performance and its irritations, not being resolved and aggravating more, not only to myself, but to numerous others I talk to.
I trust you understand me better now that I spent more worthless time explaining it lol
This is the time I usually spend in SL entertaining, not venting on or explaining myself on, on going issues that seamlessly never get fixed.

Anyways I’ll go play something else and get hooked on it, possibly divert my aggravated energy there instead of SL and fade out of SL completely, is what I probably should be doing instead of continuing banging my avatars head on a pixilated wall all the time, expecting different results.
