Two new blog posts since this latest disaster with the inability to purchase Lindens, but not ONE mention of this completely world cripling problem... and comments closed on all blog entries.
Anyone else feeling like LL is just saying to us, "Just send us your premium account money, but don't bother us with YOUR problems" at all?
I didn't think ANYONE could have a more *#&$ up CS model than Dell computers, but I think maybe LL is trying to dethrone them...
LL, if you're not going to FIX problems, just BE QUIET and let us think you're off on a bender for the weekend. It's more insulting to us to know you are writing blog entries about trivialities (c'mon, an etnry about a "database hiccup" you totally dismiss?) while totally ignoring MAJOR issues than to think you just don't give a flying flip at all...
SL is seriously close to deletion from my system......

/agree with almost the whole point of your post.
Without a fluid customer communications, a company goes out.
Star to work in the problems and hear the customers who is paying, and they will go far away.
Any response about the problem to buy L$ in the website must be a needed thing.

Plan of Action...

What we need is some large scale private land owner, someone of significance within the Second Life, to take a stand. Announce publicly the closure of their lands, put out press releases, drop notes to those authors who have written about Second Life previously.
The waves and ripples of bad press would flow through the entirety of the Linden Group right to the shores of the venture capitalists, who have funded the creation of this world with the expectation that one day there would be a big payoff.
Worry those venture capitalists, give the board of directors (many of whom represent the VC firms which have a significant cash investment in Linden Labs) pause to consider the current management teams ability to bring to fruition the vision of Second Life, and you'll see real change. Complaining to anyone within Linden Labs about the numerous problems which plague us all, is akin to speaking to a deaf, dumb and blind mute.
