I found hair that I like, but it seems a little tricky. When I transport I'm often left bald and I have to put the hair back on from inventory. Any tricks to prevent this?

Buzzer,
That's just ordinary lag. It happens to all of us. We tp, and the prim attachments we wear don't rez quite as fast as the rest of us (for the most part, clothes are just textures). For women, we have the additional problem of our shoes. The prim attachment portion also is slow to rez.

But, have faith, it will rez. Just give it a little time. The time it takes to rez will greatly be affected by where you are. If you are in an empty low lag area, your hair will rez quickly. If you tp into a really high lag place like a club or mall or party, it can take a long while.

One trick is to find where you want to tp on the map... then don't tp there. Instead tp outside just a little ways away. Instead of tp'ing into the club by accepting a tp offer, tp outside it (this means you have to find it in search, then map the club). This way you avoid the main part of the lag, and it gives your PC a chance to load textures & objects (including your hair).

Another cause is something my partner calls "TP lag". You may have noticed that when you tp around alot, each time you arrive, it takes slightly longer to rez. This continues to accumulate. After a certain point, we've learned the trick to just relog and clear cache.

Thanks, Stephanie -

That's what I suspected but it's good to get it confirmed. And I do sometimes experience TP lag, so that's a tip I will use.

Much appreciated!
