I have the latest weeks often got a wrong drawn screen pic at threads..

And yes it happens at two diff places and two diff comps.

Its easy to solve for me - I only reload the page and its gone..

BUT something must be missing since some of al updates - Forum or Mac software or...

Any suggestions?

I show a few of my saved pics of the problem.

/Tina - dont like this non EXAKT forum pages..

I see the same sort of thing on my system. I have no idea where the problem lies, however this is the only place I see that sort of thing. I wonder if it would help if LL upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin? Might fix a few bugs and give us some improved features! (I'm not a fan of web BBS software -- tends to be very lacking in thread control compared to a good newsreader. Reading these forums with MacSoup would be *soooo* much nicer. However, I've lost that battle, it seems -- the web conquers all! *sigh*)

I see it too, exactly like that.

Not sure where the problem is - there are things that safari does better than IE on a windows machine when looking at the fora too - I suspect it's either vBulletin, or a problem with the number of people hitting the thread at once personally.

The board claims to be XHTML 1.0 Transitional but doesn't validate. So that's problem number one.

I don't recall seeing the rendering bug on any other vBulletin sites, so I'd guess that it's an issue with the SL forum template they're using. It's doubtful that it's an actual Safari bug, because as I said I've not seen it on other vBulletin sites.

If this *is* happening elsewhere than the best would be to report the bug to Apple (via the Safari bug reporting option), and even better to Jelsoft.

Cheers,

We have had this kind of problem before - forum - mac - safari - but the LL made something and then it was gone..

Maybe they can do ”something” again...

I wish I wish I wish...

Using Safari on a G4 & G5 in two separate locations, never had a problem with rendering on either machine. Seems to work fine for me.

Safari Page Loading....

that is a glitch that occurs occasionally. just reload and / or quit Safari and hit the site again.
