I'm seeing something weird.. My lot's 'about property" says I've used 98 out of 117 prims.. However I cannot create anything on the property. When I attempt to rez anything, I get "the parcel is full".. I previously was closer to the limit, but deleted several items, bringing me down to the above level. Thinking it might take the sim server a bit to figure this out, I waited awhile, no change, even relogged... Whats going on??

Is the thing you're trying to rez more than 19 prims?

If not try rezzing while the about land page is open on the object tab..

Odd, I'd file a bug report, saying where your land is etc.. Or IM LiveHelp and ask someone to come look..

The land is in Mi, which I believe, is one of the new sims.. I'll check in with livehelp...

I had a similar thing happen 2 days ago, where it was saying parcel was full, when I had 98 prims free. Same thing, couldn't rez a 1 prim box. Contacted Live Help who suggested either deleting or taking a prim to fix it. Took my rug to my inventory, then placed it back down, and was all fixed, and could continue building again.
Seems to be a sporadic bug.

This happens to me often and has done for a long time, probably since before 1.6 even. It's even happened recently when I've had over a 1000 spare prims. I think it's some kind of network or packet loss error. Wait a while and try again it will work. Since the 1.7 update I've also been getting the "cannot rez object at requested position" error many more times than I used to.

The worst time I've seen it was when I had only 1 prim left and the land totally refused to let me rez another one. Eventually I left the sim, relogged and came back and it worked.

You should file a bug report.

@Lauk, Mid, Zap, Tas: ditto ditto ditto ditto.. if I open the About Land tab and close it again I can then rezz again.. definite lag in server updating prims present in the parcel

Since the 1.7 update I've also been getting the "cannot rez object at requested position" error many more times than I used to.

The worst time I've seen it was when I had only 1 prim left and the land totally refused to let me rez another one. Eventually I left the sim, relogged and came back and it worked.

I too have noticed this...
If go all the way to GROUND, I can rez with no problems.
The further from the ground I go, even if there is a suitable surface on which to rez, the worse the "Failed to rez" problem becomes.

It has gotten so bad that I have pulled a little tool together to rez my stuff for me when I am in my skypad workshop.
I drop my desired object in the tool, touch it and poof... rezzes just fine using llRezObject(). If I try pulling something out of my inventory, though, failures left and right. So now I move it to the rezzer, and the rezzer rezzes the object for me.

I have also pulled together a prim librarian tool so that I can easily rez a number of pretwisted prims for various purposes (Ram's horn, sickle blade, involute, etc etc.). Saves loads of time, and again, I don't have to fight with the asset server every time I pull items from inventory.
