This message indicates that Second Life's internet connection is being blocked, typically by something on your own network. Generally, if this were a problem on our end, it's severe enough that it would trigger an automatic notification at http://secondlife.com/status that Second Life is down.
Are you using wireless networking? If so, have you tried using a direct wired connection? Also, are you using any internet security or firewall software? If so, have you tried disabling it to see if it is interfering with Second Life access? |
