Log in issues while streaming

This is a new problem I've noticed over the past few weeks. If I am actively streaming music and try to log into SL I get to region handshake and everything stops, "region did not recieve handshake" or something like that. I have to disconnect the stream log in, and then start the stream again. As I DJ for a radio station outside of SL and pass time in SL while I'm on the air, stopping the stream to log back in after an SL crash isn't an option. This problem just started recently and was never a problem before. I've not changed any firewall settings or any other hardware/software that I know of. Is anyone else having this problem? And is there a solution to fix it?
