SL was working fine this morning, but four hours later, I try to log in and it crashed three minutes later. Every time I log in the same thing happens. Now, every time I try to open it up, it crashes. I've done three reinstalls already and it doesn't seem to be working. Any help at all will be appreciated.

I hadn't used Second Life in quite awhile, and went in for the first time after the whole security issue, reset my password, then started up the old version, which got to the login screen fine.
I then thought I'd update before playing, downloaded and installed the update, and now it's crashing everytime I try to start up SL without even getting to the login screen. Hmmmph....

FYI, I completely uninstalled Second Life, re-installed the new version, and now things seem to be working fine. So, it looks like the issue somehow arose from installing the update over the older version.
Perhaps that will fix your situation too?
Good luck!

I had the same Problem with an older Version of SL. Reinstalling did not help at all... but a simple Windows Reboot made it work again - silly, but worth trying, if you didn't already. Another hint : try deleting the temporary files of SL. They are in a Directory like : C:\Dokuments and Settings\yourName\Application Data\SecondLife\cache (i use german windows, so the Folder Name is not 100% Exact)
