Please can you fix the pic upload to the Forums it has been broken for several days now and i would like to put some pics of our WhoVille Build up for E1 to see

as well as some of my new designs... Please????

I tried several times to attach some files for Dianne Mechanique to use and it failed repeatedly.

Snapzilla works ok for screenshots, although I think there is some kind of problem with the jpg compression applied by Linden Lab.

Photobucket.com and several other places offer an alternative for pictures while waiting for this to get fixed.

We know that residents are reporting problems uploading pictures to the Second Life forum User CP page. However, each user/computer we tried here had no problems uploading either GIF or JPEG images.

Please describe the problem in more detail (including image type, error message(s), etc.) and we will try to address the problem!

I clickity-click Upload and then it sez...

There seems to have been a slight problem with the Second Life Forums database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

Image type is JPG, one I've uploaded successfully before.

We're aware of the problem and investigating it currently. Will post an announcement soon. In the meantime you can link to images stored elsewhere on the Internet.

Jeff has investigated the issue (post here: /3/fc/76196/1.html) and we are creating a policy which will most likely include some combination of deleting older threads and a smaller file size limit.

In the meantime you can use a place like http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com for photo hosting. I use them frequently!
