I can't log in to the game. The loading screen appears, but the progress bar 'hangs' part way across (usually either at 'Preparing Inventory' or 'Contacting User Server') and eventually goes back to the entry screen.

It has been like this for (so far) the last ten minutes or so.

Yeah same here I hope they fix it soon (how bout a linden tell us why this is happenin im gettin the same thing happen to me so theres gotta be a problem im sure theirs more people too.

Typical.

As usual the status page says the game is open, and there's nothing on the announcements either.

How hard is to update this page and dampen the frustration for thousands of players, Linden????????

Considering I can log in just fine, SL is open.

The database experienced a short hiccup which slowed down login a lot. We briefly turned off login until the database was happy again. In total, the entire episode lasted a few minutes between discovery and correction. Sorry for any delays.

I've had this same problem since the patch was instated. I am unable to connect at all, and when I do finally connect I get stuck with no images anywhere and on the debug window I see: WARNING Packet sent to invalid circuit (IP address of whichever sim I'm trying to log into). I've been told many options, and so far none of helped at all. So far I have been able to log in twice since the newest patch was put in, and when I'm in the game runs fine.

If anyone has any ideas for me besides the normal reinstall, clear cache, set sign in location to X, or check drivers I would be happy to hear them.
