No Voice IM with Residents

For a couple of weeks or so now I have been having problems connecting to residents with Voice IM. I have no problems talking to USA Residents. I am from the UK and to talk to other UK Residents I have just an echo of my own voice and cannot hear the other resident. And this is visa versa they have the same just an echo.
