Yesterday, before the update I rezed a 3000L object in world. Looked great but I choose "take" again to get it into my inventory to put it up somewhere else. Well, object disapeared but did not land in my inventory. I checked with highlight transparent.... not there anymore. I checked with a scanner... well, it is still sitting there. If I walk agianst it my avatars stops, so it is there. I hoped the update today make the prims visible again or at least bring it back to my inventory lost & found. Even cleared cache... Nothing SL is eating my prims and my lindens  Anyone else having problems like that and what did you do to get it back? |

Invisible Items

I had this happen to me as I was in the process of building house. I was done with the first floor and tried to take it back to my inventory. It never appeared in my inventory and when I tried to walk around my property I kept running into something where my house used to be. I contacted the island owner to ask if there was a problem and explained what happened. He suggested that I click on the Land and then select the option to return everything to the owner. I did that. Everything went to my lost and found (all in one box) When I rezzed the box from my lost and found.......everything was set back on my land including the portion of the house that was invisible before. I did notice that some of my objects rezzed in the air instead of where I had placed them but other then that everything seemed to be accounted for.
Also.....if you do "control, alt, T" all of your invisible prims will appear in red, making them easier to locate. When you do Contol, alt, T again everything goes back to normal.

and the answer is...LL has to restart the sim to get rid of the ghost prims. (according to the other threads)
