Hi out there,
isn't a good day for me today.
Crashed in a sim, but the avatar stayed over there for a little less than two hours. So i couldn't relog. Keep getting the message the system was still logging me out.
When i came back i wasn't wearing anything of the attachments i was during the crash. They are all still in my inventory, but can't wear them anymore. "Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database." is the message now. Some of the stuff is easy to replace, like the ao or the hug and kiss attachment. But all of my xcite stuff is gone too. That's about 1600 lindens worth of goodies.
Any chance i get it back or do i have to buy everything again? What should i do? Please help.
Kitty.

Kitty before you do anything.. Wait a bit and clear your cache and relog.. If you are still missing items. uninstall and re-install SL.. That worked for me when I was missing over half my invo.. If that doesn't work.. Unfortanately there is not much else u can do but submit a ticket .. Which does no good lol...

Tried clearing the cache and relog. Didn't install SL again, because the problem exists on three different computers, same account. Guess i have to wait for the answer on the support mail? Can take a while i understood. Could call them with the phone, but from europe that's more expensive than buying new stuff. Kitty.

right click object/texture that youre missing, copy uuid , report stuff missing and use that uuid you got, if you havnt got one (some mods will prevent this) just report it missing anyway.
If you do have a uuid its just way faster for them to restore a missing object in database, this happens ,but it tends to come back after awhile, usually 2-3 days after you tried using/wearing it.

Thanks, but the uuid's can't be copied.
Told them in the support mail what items i was missing and send a picture of the inventory list open (on the expensive items) with the bug report.
They should know by now what i'm missing. But still not working and still no reply to the email.
Still don't understand how my objects DO appear in my inventory and are MISSING from database. Thought my inventory was in the database. Appears to be two seperate things now. Guess i have to wait for a server update. Maybe that'll help, it's getting a reset than.

Ugh ugh ugh.
I'm hoping you get your stuff back Kitty, but for me and an ever increasing number out there, items just are never seen again. Steel yourself against the possibility that you will have to replace them all.
Second Life is just getting more and more dangerous to spend money on. People are losing things left and right.
While you are at it, check then link in my siggie for that issue in JIRA and comment and more importantly, vote on it.

I too lost iinventory - picutres, attachments and most important a Sexgen bed that cost me $5000! Sent many reports to LL but only got a response from Frontier Linden who gave me the same spiel as the knowledge base. Guess I can kiss that item goodbye!!!

Update from my side.
Haven't heard a thing from Linden yet, why doesn't this surprise me?
Had IM contact with the shop owners where the lost items came from. The one where my lost boots came from (sorry forgot the name) was online and replaced the boots at once. The XCite employees weren't online, but came online after about an hour.
They asked me to make a notecard with the missing items and return the objects that didn't work anymore. I did that, made the notecard and dropped it together with all of my xcite stuff into his inventory. Got everything replaced within 2 minutes. That's what I call service.
My advise; still report it to Linden, but don't expect too much of it. Report it also to the shop owner where you bought your stuff. They will give service (most of the time) if you ask nicely.
