a few days ago i asked which graphics card to buy for my modest home pc and was told to go for a 6600gt (on a budget) for my 1800mhz p4.
does this card have to be a 256 or can i just buy a 128.
forgive my ignorance!
(i got into second life at work where i play in my studio on a $6000 super pc with all the bells and whistles, intended for video animation and stop frame capture. it also has a up to 50mb connection. im probably always gonna be dissapointed whatever i get i guess)
thanks again in advance

A 128 will work fine. That's what I have. P2

Anything over 128 is overkill really, 128 will work fine. If you find a 256 for the same price, by all means snatch it up but don't pay extra for it.
