How warm is your vid card and wich kind?,
cause that reminds me of overclocking/heat/volt issues, or the usual last one, drivers (dont think its that)
I have had something similiar like that and it was my memory stick that died , did a memtest86 on it and it was failing all over the place.

I'm not sure about how warm it is, it worked fine last night. I have an ATI Radeon...I'll try updating the drivers. Thanks
