Personally as a Business Person in Second Life, this whole Risk API thing is getting quite annoying.
If for some reason an account is flagged as "Risky" what do we do to clear it up? As long as I have been in Second Life, and as well behaved as I have been in every situation in Second Life, ALWAYS, I would very much like to know if there is ANYONE who can give me an answer other than referring me to that darn website that explains the reason the Risk API department exists. I understand the need for the department but I need someplace or someone I can get answers from other than a brick wall. I simply want to find out why I am flagged as risky and how I can clear it up.
Is there anyone I can talk to?

From: someone Is there anyone I can talk to? No. That sounds too much like customer service, which is now prohibited by LL. You can fill out form 27b/6, but I'm not sure it would help.

What do you do? The answer is simple - you ignore it. The same thing is true in the virtual world. Getting caught out by a scam, or duped by another resident is upsetting enough, but you should also understand that if you don’t ignore them and become involved we may close your account temporarily while we investigate. To avoid fraud, there are two situations that all residents and groups should be wary of: 1. Buying Linden Dollars from an unknown seller 2. Accepting large Linden Dollar gifts from an unknown donor (hundreds of thousands of L$) Both of these situations are happening more and more as we recently implemented the Risk API. The Risk API uses a complicated algorithm to identify accounts with suspicious activity and prevent them from trading Lindens or cashing out. Use of the Risk API helps us and other exchanges identify fraud before it happens. Because of the Risk API, fraudsters are having a much more difficult time cashing out. Instead, they have turned to a new form of social griefing. They join a group & then make large Linden Dollar gifts. If you accept the gift it’s going to look like fraudulent activity and we may temporarily close your account while we investigate. If a resident wants to donate to your group, please ask them to do it in US dollars rather than Linden Dollars. That may be the only way to avoid being defrauded. So annoying >.< (god this is a slow forum to open and type take forever -.-)

Ok, the only person I exchange large amounts of linden with is my RL and SL husband. I give him the linden I want to sell and we sell all of our linden in one transaction to pay our teir fees via paypal. I should call linden labs to talk to them maybe.

Hello, Did you ever actually get any response from anyone? I'm in a similiar situation. As a small business owner, who operates a legit business with a proven transaction history I've gotten ZERO help from everywhere I've looked. Is there a phone number you can call? Can you actually get off the list after recieving a false positive? Were you able to find answers from anyone.. anywhere? Thanks in advance, Eclipse

If you're concierge level and/or chummy with a Linden (ie you can plead through better channels) even then you will struggle to get it resolved, from what I've read.
Nobody is safe from the Code As Law.

Hello,
Unfortunately I'm not. I don't pay Linden Labs 125 usd$ per month in order to be concierge level and I've never actually met a linden. So that pretty much leaves me with opening tickets and trying to do live chat with billing to get it fixed. So far, with no success in sight.
I was told that I should just continue to try and transfer 1 linden every day to see if I am still on the list and keep the account being checked for manual review until someone actually checks the account.
Any other suggestions?
I feel like I am being punished here for something I didnt' do. Guilty until proven innocent with no actual way to prove my innocence because no one will look at my transaction history or take the time to get me off the list.
And I pay Linden Labs to use second life.... so essentially, I am paying for this to happen to me.. ugh..

Im still amazed people pay for a service LL keeps giving paying customers in LL, Theres no support, what little there is just answear mundane questions not the important ones and they sure wont bother showing up in world much anymore , usually will just show, no make that shove, you to a webpage that doesnt help at all. You get what you pay for?, glad i dont pay squat then since there isnt much help to get when you need one. Short exsample; Friend of mine has a sim, its been very odd last 9 days , doesnt rez prims properly, youre lucky if you get half the sim prim rezzed , stand another 1~2 hour and you might see some more, avatars that enter sim just appear half rezzed to, and this they pay for? Oh right lets try help...nothing going 10 days.
This isnt the first sim i know of that has issues and never get help , or get "its your content" ,shame on you to think you could build anything?O_o , oh right their world , our money, no service
