Deeding land

Hello someone told me if I started a group with myself and someone I trust I could deed my land to the group and save 10% on tier costs. I created a group, sectioned off 560 of land to deed. When I did this, it returned 24 items to my inventory and said 46 more would be deleted. Now my house is unlinked, my furniture, garden, a little of everything is gone and NOT in my inventory lost and found or otherwise. I then tried to sell it back to myself for $L0 and it said this would raise my tier costs to $25.00 a month! I do not understand this since I only own the (I own 4 512 lots) $15 and am buying MY LAND back from myself. Is there a way to undo this mess I've created or is it too late? I just want my items and house back to normal, I don't care about the 10%.
