SL Avatar model poly count?

I've tried searching for the answer to this question since I'm sure it's been asked before but my poor search skills were unable to turn up an answer (though I did find some other interesting discussions).

Anyway, does anyone know offhand what the poly count on the avatar models is?

Tsktsk! ;D

I've seen the UV map and they look pretty complex. Moreso than, say, a WoW character, I think. Plus, they've got to support all the pushing and pulling the adjustments sliders put upon them. My little mind boggles over what it must take to get it all to play nice together. ^o^

well the number of polygons in the av's body depends on how far the camera is from the body. Here are the numbers of polygons for the different LODs.

At the highest it's about 9090 polygons.
