I have been experiencing an annoying bug for some time now. Most of the time it is just a nuissance, but it just resulted in yet another money loss. Somtimes when typing or clicking things happen twice or even 3 times. Like, I will say something, and it will pop up 2 or 3 times on the screen. Never very often, randomly a few times an hour. But recently, some other money related things have happened. I tipped someone, and it paid them twice. Twice, I have bought an item by clicking 1 button once, and ended up buying 2, and then 3 copies of the item. And, just now, I rated somebody, and it happened twice, costing me 100L. The double chats were just a little annoying, but now I am getting afraid to buy anything expensive. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Does anyone have any ideas? Is there somewhere more official I should be reporting a bug like this?
Thanks in advance,
Raven

Raven, at first I wasn't sure what this may be, but after you mentioned "double chats"--are you on a wireless network? I've had friends on unreliable wireless that'd double-chat, double-pay, double-a lot of things. I'd gently suggest to see if you can go on SL on a wired line and see what happens.

Thanks, I am using a wireless connection to my laptop, and I was wondering if that had something to do with it. I will try to find a cable and give it a shot this weekend. But, I am sitting less than 10 feet from my Linksys hub and have an "Excellent" rated connection, so I wouldn't exactly call it an "unreliable wireless" connection. Let's suppose that I wire up, and I have no more problems. Doesn't this still imply that there is some sort of basic flaw in the SL command protocol? Shouldn't there be something in place that insures command uniquity no matter how bad one's network connection may be? I just don't see how being on a wireless network should matter.
Thanks,
Raven
