Flying Fast and Out of Control

I was exploring with the camera restrictions off, and somehow when I now try to fly, I don't go in the direction I indicate with my keys, and I'm flying super fast. I can't seem to fly at normal speed and in the correct direction.

Is there some setting I can use to correct this?

Also, some of my inventory items got changed, such as my hair, gender, skin, etc. No idea how, and the ones I created for myself got edited without me having consciously edited them

Any help here? Thanks!

You probably flew across a SIM boundary.
When lag is bad, SIM crossings can be hazardous to Avitar health.

I always pause at the SIM crossing, Check my Seat Belt and look both ways before stepping out.

Press ctrl-alt-1 to bring up the sim performance display.

Close the basic display by clicking on it.
Then click on "Simulator"

I find that there can be several different reasons for server side "Lag".
There can also be reasons for your client to have "Lag"

Personaly, I have to reduce the banwidth to less than 300K to reduce packet loss.
The only problem with lowering the bandwidth setting is that you can run into places where scripted items are constantly "updating" and this will cause AV motion to also get jerky.
