Please Im at my wits end I cant get my game back up since we moved houses. It keeps saying that I dont have network connection to get into the game. Yet when I go to my network settings it says that I have a strong Internet connection. I dont know what to do so please I am begging for some kind of help. I dont know what to do and Im going insane.

Please stop posting your same problem more than once, you are clogging up the forums. Posting the 3 threads within 24 hours for the SAME problem isn't going to solve it any faster, this sounds like a configuration problem with your network that you setup and not a problem with SL which is why no one is responding. Have you tried a hard wire connection to your router? Does that work? Does anything else that needs internet access work, like internet explorer, can you surf the web? Do you have any firewalls running? if so can you turn them off and try?

Does your router or ISP firewall ports on your connection? Does your Windows istallation firewall ports on your connection?
These are the first things to investigate.

I dont have any firewalls up I cant even get Internet explorer to find a connection. I dont know what to do anymore besides reload EVERYTHING. And I personally dont know how to do that. So if anyone can help me I really appreciate it. And I would appreciate it more if you people didnt chew me out for trying to find someone to help me.

Surf to your router with your internet browser
normally it will have the sam IP as you exept the last part will be a 1.
ex: you IP: 192.168.0.2 => 192.168.0.1 = router IP
Now you can change settings of your router.
make sure NAT is enabled!

Now you can change settings of your router.
make sure NAT is enabled! Use START > RUN > cmd to open a terminal window and enter the command "ipconfig /all". That'll tell you the assigned gateway address. If that information is largely blank or full of 0.0.0.0, your NIC isn't recieving DHCP information from the router because the cable between the router and the PC is defective, the NIC itself is defective or not properly seated, or the network connection settings are telling the card to use a static address rather than recieve one automatically.
