Money missing in 1.7

Is anyone else's balance missing in 1.7? I had $6000-some Lindens as confirmed by my transaction history on the website. However, in world I only show L$6. Satchmo Prototype had $5000-some Lindens, but only has L$5 in 1.7.

Did someone add a divide by 1000? Will it come back? I'm not horribly upset by the loss. Just wondering what's going on.

No worries, Digi - apparently there's a bug going on with certain Mac's (I'm assuming you're on a Mac)... where the currency display gets dropped off at the comma.

They know about it, and I'm pretty sure your money is still there :)

I have the same issue. The money isnt missing, check your account history. It's there, it simply isnt being displayed properly in the 1.7 client and is off by a factor of 1000. So if you have 1850L$s the client displays 1L$. And if you get a friend to give you enough to reach or go over 2000 L$s the client will disply 2L$s.

I filed a bug report on this while it was still in the preview grid, I just filed another now that same said bug has crossed onto the main grid.

It is known and apparently is a mac clinet issue.

I'm on Mac. I should have L$1,900 or so, and it shows L$1 in the upper right corner. Account History shows correct balance though.

Same here and I'm on a Mac too. Phew. I almost freaked out. Good thing that I've learnt to check the forums if anyone else is having the same problem after the update.

Any Mac users with erroneous account balance on the in-world screen should upgrade OS to OS X 10.4.2. That will probably solve the prob.

Hope so.... ;-)

But I'm still on Panther... Do I need to pay Apple 14800 yen for SL to work right? *sighs* I feel like a serf paying annual tributes.

No, you dont need to upgrade to OS 10.4.2, just wait until LL sorts the problem, it isnt the OS, its an oversight/problem in the SL 1.7 client. You dont upgrade OSs over bugs introduced in a client upgrade, you wait until LL sorts it. :)

Linden Labs said, in response to my bug report, that this will be fixed in the 1.7.1 release, due out tomorrow. It is a bug that affects Mac OS X 10.3 users, and they figured out how to resolve it.

I have no intention of upgrading to OS X 10.4 at any time soon, as 10.4 breaks one of my other critical applications. 10.3 is fine for me!
