Help With Search Window Please

I am new to SL....getting addicted after 2 days!

On my office monitor, when I hit the search window, I cannot resize or move the search window up so I can see the entire window. The bottom is hidden by the lower toolbar and SL statistics. The result is that I cannot see the teleport option at the bottom of classified ads or places that I've highligted it the list to the left.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually you can click the top of the search pane and drag the thing all over the screen if you want. If this is not the case you have a glitch in there somewhere.

I think in your preferrences there is an option to "run in window". That may help. Your monitor at work is probably set at 800 by 600 resolution and might be too get the whole box in your viewing area. If you can change your resolution at your work computer try setting it to a larger resolution. I don't know what SL's optimum resolution is but I know 1024 by 768 works. My monitor's resident resoulution is 1280 by 1024 and that's the setting I use............and everything is within the viewing area with room to spare.

I'm not in SL right now, the grid is down, but I think you can still press Tab, Tab, Space from the search window and it will teleport you.

Tab then Tab should highlight the teleport button.

Space presses the button.
